Hi, my name is Jo,

 

In 2007 I started the Rescue Centre with my husband Tony.

We are both dog lovers & we felt really distressed seeing all the starved, abandon dogs in Sicily.

Sicily is a very poor area, with no money in the community to feed these dogs,  so we decided to do something about it.

 

We built the centre on our own land, using our own money. To date we have rescued over 100 dogs but it's been very tough, having no outside funding. We want to do more & we hope you can help us.
